business park in Belmont, this project involved amalgamation of the two sites
and the construction of a large office and call.

design feature: The
overall design was formulated in close partnership with the client to ensure it
meets their specific needs and work flows. Care was taken to ensure the design
allowed for programmed expansion and future changes to the workforce. The left
hand side building accommodates a large office and call centre, with a
receiving point for the distribution facilities. This building also houses
offices and boardroom facilities, substantial staff amenities and a purpose
built training area. A large mezzanine sits behind the office, and printing
facilities are also located in this area. The right hand building is a large
distribution facility allowing the clients products to be stored, picked and
backed for distribution. Strategically located fire doors allow the building to
work efficiently whilst protecting the two components of the facility from fire
transfe. The bold use of colour reflects the client’s corporate branding, and
ensures the building stands apart from the adjoining properties.
construction
features: The
building incorporates concrete tilt panel walls, compressed fibre cement sheeting
feature fins, steel framed mezzanine and commercial glazing sections to the two
level office areas. Large concrete aprons and canopies allow the client to
receive numerous container deliveries throughout the day, and to deal with
product delivery and dispatch in all types of weather.

feature bold vibrant work surfaces which are detailed to reflect the client’s
business activities. The large workforce enjoys numerous break-out areas
throughout the building, which have been designed to maximize staff performance
and effectiveness. Dedicated training and boardroom facilities have been
designed to allow the building to accommodate numerous visitors simultaneously.
