Project Overview

project description: Construction of a modern salad and vegetable processing factory designed to accommodate specialised machinery with the strict specification of the owners corporate business partners and health regulations.

Project Features

prominent design feature: Cast in situ floor slab sealed in accordance with health regulations and constructed with specified falls to discharge waste to central drain and interceptor pits. This allows the factory staff to discharge large volumes of water safely with minimal waste.

construction features: The facility includes a single storey office and salad processing factory constructed of concrete strip/pad footings supporting concrete tilt panel external walls, structural steel framed and metal clad roof.

internal features: Internal fit out was light framed stud wall and refrigeration panel walls to factory. Close cooperation was required with the separate contractors engaged by the owners to undertake the refrigeration room fit-out which was done during the contract construction period.
